We recently planned and held our first annual "Outdoorsman Banquet." Because this was our first attempt at combining the great outdoors and evangelism we had a lot of questions. In the early stages of our planning, the Lord graciously introduced us to Gary Miller. At our first meeting, the planning team sat for hours as Gary made himself available to answer questions and provide us with valuable insight that would aid us in our preparation. But most importantly, Gary allowed our planning team the opportunity to get to know him personally and see his heart for Christ. As a pastor, I am very protective of the flock entrusted to me as well as the unsaved individuals who would be attending the banquet and hear the gospel for the very first time. In his presentation, I can honestly say that Gary made the gospel clear and he didn't cheapen the atoning work of Christ with "easy believeism." Gary is no slick evangelist looking to inflate his ego with unrealistic numbers of "so called conversions." Gary is real. He loves Jesus and he loves the outdoors.in that order. Because of that, I have no reservations in recommending Gary Miller if you are considering an outreach event geared toward hunters and fishermen.
